Millisor Family Memorial Scholarship
The Millisor family established this scholarship to recognize the academic achievement and remove financial barriers for Summit County Residents. First preference will be given to graduates of Summit High School and/or first generation students. The Millisors recognize that first generation students face many obstacles in achieving their educational goals and hope their scholarship will open doors to high school graduates who dream of a college education.
Eligibility: First preference to first generation applicants who are graduating seniors of Summit High School. Applicants must be planning to enroll as full-time degree-seeking students at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) at the Summit Campus within two academic semesters after high school graduation. Applicants must be Summit County resident; awards will based on merit and financial need. Qualifying students must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Award Amount: Two awards of $1187 will be made per year. The award recipient must enroll for two out of three semesters. If the student does not re-enroll after a one semester absence, the scholarship will be forfeited.
