Everett Bristol Family International Endowed Scholarship

Everett Bristol was a founder of Yampa Valley College which later became the Alpine Campus of Colorado Mountain College. A successful local businessman, he had a great interest in international affairs. �Ev� supported higher education in the Yampa Valley as a charter member of the Yampa Valley Foundation. This scholarship, endowed by his widow Benita Bristol, honors their children. It is intended to assist students who are pursuing an education and career in international business or international affairs. It is hoped that recipients will work toward a better understanding among the peoples and nations of the world. Students selected to receive this scholarship will be expected to learn as much as possible about this region, our country, and the world community. The recipients will be required to share this knowledge of international cultures and issues by addressing student and community groups.

Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in, or applying to, a two-year degree or certificate program at Alpine Campus. The award is based on financial need and student potential. Preference is given to international students who do not permanently reside in the U.S.
