Quigley Family

one of the original families who donated land for the Spring Valley Campus, the Quigley Family’s commitment to education will be carried on through the Ellen Quigley Memorial Scholarship. Ellen, who died in 2010, is remembered for her strength of character — a city girl marrying rancher Dan Quigley and raising three daughters, Marianne, Patricia, and Sheila, as well as feeding the ranch hands and many a CMC student on Spring Valley Ranch. Known also for her sharp wit and wide array of friends, Ellen’s desire was that a Colorado Mountain College student would not lack the resources to pursue a career and thus a better life
