Gordon Howard Dental Education Scholarship

Dr. Kent Petrie and his wife Martha named this scholarship after Martha’s dad, a dentist who was an early adopter of having a dental hygienist as part of his practice. Dr. Gordon Howard received his entire start in higher education in a community college in California. It was thanks to the encouragement (and a little tough talk) from one of his instructors that he continued on with his education and eventually became a dentist.
