Stanley, Terryl and Craig Brue Endowed Scholarship

Stanley, Terryl and Craig Brue have established this endowed scholarship to offer financial assistance to students who are committed to obtaining a degree in Ski Area Operations at the Timberline Campus of Colorado Mountain College. This scholarship is intended for students who are entering their second year of studies, who have set clear professional goals and are willing to work through challenges to meet those goals. Eligibility: This scholarship is designed to encourage and financially assist Colorado Mountain College students who are enrolled full time, are in their second year of study, have a commitment to the ski industry, and demonstrate academic ability. Students are required to maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA to receive this scholarship. Award will be based on financial need. Applicants must be currently enrolled full time (12 credit hours) in their freshman year of the Ski Area Operations Program. Students must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty, community members or others, who know of their qualifications, are able to address their character, and reinforce their educational career goals. Students must submit an essay addressing their interest in the ski industry and desire for this scholarship. Award Amount: Will vary according to the earnings generated by the investment related to the scholarship, but will generally be $1,000 per student per year. Award will be disbursed to the student�s account in two increments, half during the fall semester and half during the spring semester.
