First Ascent Scholarship

The First Ascent Scholarships are for first generation students from Eagle County who are passionate about social issues and giving back to their community. Scholarship recipients are asked to make their best effort basis to mentor a younger student – either from their prior high school or from CMC – especially other students who are first generation and might need help with the college enrollment process or navigating their first year of school.
Eligibility: First Generation students who have graduated from a Eagle County High School or who have lived in Eagle County for 5 or more years. Preference given to students attending the Vail Valley at Edwards Campus.
