Wayne Swanson Scholarship

Wayne Swanson was co-owner of Glenwood True Value Hardware and Steamboat Ace Hardware. He was a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. This scholarship fund was created because he appreciated the opportunities that CMC offers to mountain communities.

Eligibility preference as follows:
1. Current graduates of high schools located in Routt County attending any CMC Campus.
2. Current graduates of high schools in the CMC district, (Eagle, Garfield, Lake, Pitkin, Routt or Summit Counties) attending the CMC
Steamboat Springs Campus.
3. Current graduates of any Colorado High School attending the CMC Steamboat Springs Campus.
GPA – 2.5 minimum

Amount of Award: $2,500 per year; renewable for one additional year based on minimum 2.5 GPA.
