Hotel Colorado Scholarship

The Hotel Colorado was founded by Walter Devereux in 1893 at the height of Westward expansion. The promise of gold and silver was bringing thousands with adventurous spirits out west to explore a new way of living, far from the confines of bustling cities. Now the Hotel Colorado is a beautiful step back in time and a landmark of downtown Glenwood Springs, next to world-famous hot springs and a train depot that goes back more than a hundred years. The Hotel Colorado is looking forward to the next hundred years, and the individuals who will make the hospitality industry thrive.
Eligibility: Applicants must be resident of the Roaring Fork Valley and be pursuing a degree in hospitality or culinary arts.
