PBJ Sustainability Scholarship
The Palmer Bossung Jessen Sustainability Education & Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship was created to honor the memories and impact of Adam Palmer, Seth Bossung and Andy Jessen, phenomenal men who perished in a tragic avalanche in the backcountry in 2021. All three made a lasting impact not only on their own Town of Eagle, but on the entirety of Eagle County, Colorado as well. They collectively held the roles of husband, father, business owner, council member, biker, skier, river rat, committee member, entrepreneur, outdoor enthusiast, innovator, and friend. Their passion and commitment towards sustainability education & social entrepreneurship was legendary, each of them contributing to the community in their own unique way. This new PBJ Sustainability Scholarship will benefit CMC Vail Valley students who display the same characteristics as these movers & shakers, and choose to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies.
Eligibility: Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA or higher, attend the Vail Valley at Edwards Campus and be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies.
