Yob Scholarship for Business Administration
The goal of the Yob scholarship, established by the Yob Family, is to give local students the means to obtain a BS degree in business at CMC and then hopefully use the degree to pursue a meaningful and successful business career.
Eligibility: Students enrolled or enrolling in a CMC Associate degree program who have declared their intent to earn a Bachelor Degree in Business administration or students enrolling in the CMC Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Program. Applicants must be Summit County residents who are classified as in-district for tuition purposes. Financial need will be a factor in recipient selection. Current students must have a GPA of at least 3.0; returning students must demonstrate a GPA of at least 3.0 by way of transcripts from CMC or other institutions attended. Award Amount: Amount of award will be determined by level of attendance as follows: Recipients currently in CMC AA in business degree 100 or 200 level classes-Part-time enrollment 6-9 credit hours-$1165 per year
Full-time enrollment at least 12 credit hours-$2325 per year
Recipients enrolling in CMC BSBA degree 300 or 400 level classes-
Part-time enrollment 6-9 credit hours-$2325 per year
Full-time enrollment at least 12 credit hours-$4650 per year
Scholarship is renewable up to four years based on GPA of at least 3.0 at the academic year end
