Chip Bartsch Memorial/West Vail Liquor Mart Scholarship

This scholarship has been established by the family of Chip Bartsch and the West Vail Liquor Mart. Chip Bartsch, who died in 2015, was an employee of the West Vail Liquor Mart. He graduated college in the mid-1980s and used his education to create a quality life for himself. He demonstrated an excellent work ethic and he was also a life-long learner. He was able to take ideas and put them into action. His ability to use his knowledge and intelligence was something that gave him a positive outlook on life. He never shied away from intellectual curiosity and the pursuit of his passions. He taught himself how to play guitar, was an avid tele-mark skier, enjoyed reading, and enjoyed spending time with friends playing frisbee golf.

Scholarship is open to a Vail Valley at Edwards student enrolled in a certificate, associate or bachelor degree program.
GPA requirement – minimum 2.5
