Kay Maloney AAS Nursing Scholarship
Kay Maloney pursued a teaching career by graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Washington in 1950. She encouraged and supported her family members as they pursued education. Her family legacy includes two medical doctors, two advanced nurse practitioners, and two registered nurses. She valued higher education and the opportunities that it provides to those willing to work hard. This scholarship was provided by an anonymous donor to honor Kay’s legacy.
Eligibility: Applicants must be students admitted and enrolled in the first year AAS/ADN nursing program at the CMC Breckenridge Campus. Scholarships will only be available to first year nursing students attending the CMC Breckenridge Campus who demonstrate financial need for assistance. Priority in awarding this scholarship will be given to students who are parents with dependent children.
