Ryan Matthew Williams Memorial Scholarship

Ryan completed his training and became certified as a firefighter and paramedic in Ohio, but the beauty of the mountains and his love of skiing called him to Colorado. More important than the landscape and skiing were the friends in Snowmass Village that Ryan met on his journey. Those wonderful friendships made Snowmass Village his home.
Ryan lived his life to the fullest; he also enjoyed mountain biking, sky diving, scuba diving, white water rafting, hiking and golf.
Ryan attended Colorado Mountain College to recertify as an EMT so he could be a member of the Ski Patrol.
Sadly, Ryan lost his battle with cancer in 2014. His family wishes to honor his memory by helping students attain their dreams.
Eligibility: Applicant must show financial need, have a 2.5 GPA or higher and enroll in a EMT or paramedic program.
