Gerald G. Gallegos Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Gallegos Corporation was founded in 1970 by Gerald G. Gallegos as a specialty stone masonry company. In 1980, The Gallegos Corporation was integral in building the Village of Beaver Creek. Gerald Gallegos was committed to local philanthropic needs, especially those supporting youth and education. To honor this tradition, The Gallegos Corporation has partnered with the Colorado Mountain College Foundation to create The Gerald G. Gallegos Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will benefit Eagle County students pursuing an Associate degree or a 4 year Bachelor degree at the Vail Valley at Edwards campus.
Eligibility: Applicants pursuing either an Associate or Bachelor Degree at the CMC-Edwards Campus Students must demonstrate a GPA of at least 3.0 in their most recent academic year and must be classified as in-district for tuition purposes. Preference will be given to applicants who are the first generation in their family to attend college.
