Copper Mountain Resort Endowed Scholarship

Under the guidance of ski pioneer Chuck Lewis, construction of Copper Mountain ski area began in 1971. Over the years, Copper has grown to its current size of 2,465 skiable acres, and is now one of Colorado�s premier year-round destination resorts. The area also features Woodward at Copper, a year-round ski and snowboard freestyle training facility. Copper Mountain Resort prides itself on being a responsible steward of its mountain and village environments, and maintains strong partnerships with local organizations and initiatives to the benefit of the community and future generations. Copper Mountain is pleased to offer this scholarship to Lake, Eagle and Summit County CMC students.

Eligibility:

Eligible applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an Associate degree program at the Lake, Eagle, or Summit Campus of Colorado Mountain College. Priority will be given to applicants pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts, Ski Area Operations, and/or with personal or family history in the ski industry. First year program recipients of the scholarship are eligible to apply for a renewed scholarship for year two (2), provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0
