Edney Family Foundation Scholarship
The Edney Family has established this scholarship to benefit traditional and non-traditional students who are pursuing either a 2-year or 4-year degree in science, engineering, or information technology at Summit Campus of Colorado Mountain College. The Edney Family understands how essential career-focused education and the advancement of the sciences are to creating a stronger workforce. Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) at the Summit Campus and be a Summit County resident, classified as an in-district student at CMC. Applicants must demonstrate scholastic ability with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be declared in a degree program in the advanced sciences, engineering, or IT. The award is based on financial need and student potential. Award Amount: One award of $1,900 will be awarded per academic year for tuition, books, and fees. Disbursement will be made to the student�s CMC account. The award recipient must enroll for two out of three semesters. If the student does not re-enroll after a one semester absence, the scholarship will be forfeited. The student may reapply for future funding, but no priority is given to previous recipients.
