P.E.O. Patti Casey Empowering Women Scholarship

P.E.O. Summit County Chapter has established this scholarship to memorialize former President, Patti Casey. The scholarship continues to help remove financial barriers and open doors to underserved women residing in Summit County and who are seeking to transition into college level courses, no matter the year they enter or have accomplished, with the goal of earning an AA or BA degree from Colorado Mountain College – Summit Campus. The CMC Summit P.E.O. Chapter would like to serve as mentors to the recipient(s) and help with life skills for educational and career success.
Eligibility: Applicants must have a 2.5 or higher GPA, show financial need, attend a CMC in Summit County, be a resident of Summit County and in-district or in-state for tuition purposes.
Funds can be used to award one full time student (12-15 credits per semester) in the amount of $2,000 or two part time students (6-8 credits per semester) in the amount of $1,000 each.
