Paul and Karen Gerhardt believe strongly in the power of education, having benefited greatly from their degrees in Computer Science (Paul) and Commercial Art (Karen). Having lived an active retirement lifestyle in Edwards since 2011, we hope the “Friends of CMC Vail Valley, First in Family Scholarship” will create opportunities for local students to succeed and achieve their dreams.
Having spent her career as an urban educator in low income neighborhoods, Patricia Rowe gained first hand awareness of the lack of opportunity and the barriers to success that students from such backgrounds can face. It is her hope and belief that the Friends of CMC Vail Valley First in Family will help to address the opportunity gap.
