Orcutt Family

The Orcutt Family Scholarship was created by Stephen (Steve) S. Smith, in honor of his daughter and her family. As a business owner, developer and a scientist, Steve has crafted this scholarship to recognize students from Leadville/Lake County who have interest in pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or science. With a strong belief that Leadville/Lake County has enormous potential, Steve’s hopes are that favoring scholarships for Lake County residents will help local students achieve their goals and inspire them to bring those skills back to this amazing mountain community.
