Judge Clifford and Mabelle Darrow

This endowed scholarship was a gift from the late Judge Clifford and Mabelle Darrow to assist students in pursuing their educational dreams.
Judge Darrow served as Chief Water Judge for the State of Colorado. His jurisdiction encompassed the Colorado and White Rivers and all of their tributaries. He was a former City and County Attorney for Glenwood Springs, CO and Aspen CO. During World War II he served as head of the Selective Service in Glenwood Springs. In 1970 he was appointed by the then Governor of Colorado to the district bench. He retired in 1972. Judge Darrow passed away in September 1993.
