Jon and Wendy Wade and The Steamboat Group Fund established The Steamboat Group/Angela Brumley Scholarship to support students from the Steamboat Springs community attending CMC Steamboat Springs. The goal of this scholarship is to prepare local students for careers in fields of value to the Steamboat community, specifically (but not limited to) nursing, education and business. Additionally, this scholarship will assist “non-traditional” students seeking self-improvement, who may need financial assistance to access higher education. The scholarship is named for Angela Brumley, a CMC Steamboat graduate whose personal story inspired the Wades to make their gift.Impact
