James Colombo-Rancho De Malo Community Assistance Fund Scholarship

James Colombo-Rancho De Malo Community Assistance Fund Scholarship

Growing up, James Colombo didn’t think college would be a realistic option for him. After working two-three jobs at a time in high school, he and his older sister were able to be the first in their entire family history to go to college and complete undergraduate and graduate degrees.
He understands the impact an education can make on a person’s life. As a Commissioner for the City of Aspen, and 40 year-resident of the Roaring Fork Valley, he has seen the need for local community assistance. Inspired by the giving and helping nature of his family, James Colombo has created the Rancho De Malo Community Assistance Fund scholarship to help young individuals realize their dreams through an education at Colorado Mountain College.
