Gebhardt Family

This Scholarship is established by the Gebhardt Family and the Michael R. Gebhardt Memorial Fund in memory of Michael R. Gebhardt who was a resident of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and formerly of Carmel, New York. Michael was an avid outdoorsman and NOLS graduate who was a firm believer in ongoing outdoor education, especially in the areas of avalanche awareness/certification and backcountry safety. This scholarship will honor Michael�s memory, and his love and respect for nature will be kept alive, while providing an avenue of education and certification for others.
