Dr. Michelle Balcomb

Dr. M. Michelle Balcomb, was a former trustee, faculty member, and a great supporter of Colorado Mountain College. Dr. Balcomb was also a long standing member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science “AAAS”, serving the Association for more than fourteen years as Executive Secretary of the Southwestern and Rocky Mountain “SWARM” Division.

Her term at AAAS was marked by several innovations including the encouragement of a closer association of state academics of science with SWARM and active participation of teachers and students in association activities.
