Doug and Katie Bizerra

This scholarship is offered by Doug and Katie Bizerra, franchise operators of Chick-fil-A at Gardens on Havana, with the objective of remembering CMC student and Chick-fil-A employee, Stephenie “Steph” Zgorzynski, and her passion for animals through the Veterinary Technology program at CMC�s Spring Valley campus while attracting students to CMC’s program of Veterinary Technology who possess an aptitude for leadership. The expectation is that as a CMC Veterinary Technology student, the scholarship recipient will demonstrate a superior work ethic, exude a passion for animal care, continue to cultivate his or her leadership abilities, serve as an inspiration to classmates, and elevate the entire Veterinary Technology program.

Eligibility: Current or Incoming CMC students pursuing a 2-year or 3-year Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. The ideal scholarship candidate will demonstrate academic ability and a history of general leadership and a strong work ethic for animal care.
