Carol Federman

Carol is a retired nurse, nurse practitioner and nursing educator who lost her husband Harvey to COVID-19 in 2020. Together they shared over 20 years in the Roaring Fork Valley, living an active life filled with skiing, hiking, biking and golfing. To honor Harvey’s memory, Carol has established this scholarship fund for nursing students at Colorado Mountain College.
Carol believes deeply in the importance of a healthcare system supported by skilled, compassionate nurses. Through this scholarship, she hopes to ease the financial burden for dedicated and deserving students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare providers.
